Here at Real Ale Brewing Company, we are very passionate about cask conditioning. Living up to our name, we strive to be a leader in the production of real ales. Real ale, simply put, is any ale served without extraneous CO2 and naturally carbonated within its serving vessel. This can be from firkins and pins(casks) or from bottles. Due to the specialized training needed to produce and dispense real ale, its popularity has waned over the years. We are doing our part to keep this tradition alive by educating both the publican and the consumer on this special product. We proudly produce our real ales using time-honored techniques, such as dry-hopping within the cask. We also utilize some non-traditional techniques, such as putting espresso shots into casks of our coffee porter. The main focus of our cask program is Real Ale ESB, but we offer many other fine ales both year round and seasonally. No cask at your favorite bar?
