Label for Real Heavy

Real Heavy

Real Heavy is a traditional Strong Scotch Ale (Wee Heavy). It has a rich brown color, and a deep caramel flavor. Malt flavors dominate and are balanced by the alcohol (9.7% a.b.v.). It is brewed with English crystal malt, English hops, and fermented with English ale yeast. Fans of the Bitter End's award winning Prescott's Wee Heavy will not be disappointed.

SWORD Iron Swan Ale

LIMITED RELEASE! Our newest canned offering is a tribute to the song that first introduced us to a packaging hall favorite, The Sword. Label for 17th Anniversary Ale

17th Anniversary Ale

17th Anniversary Ale is our strongest ale to date. This deceptively strong Belgian inspired ale weighs in around 14% ABV. Like many of our beers, it was not brewed to a particular style. We brewed it to reflect the uniqueness of our brewery and the passion of our staff (not to mention the hardiness of our yeast!). This ale is highlighted by peach and orange/citrus flavors and aromas provided by the synergy of our house Belgian yeast and four new German hop varieties. Our yeast also provides spicy notes to compliment the abundance of fruit character. The dryness of the beer yields a clean finish which belies a beer of its strength. With an eye to the future, raise a glass with us to celebrate seventeen years!

Winter

Label for Phoenixx Double Extra Special Bitter

Phoenixx Double Extra Special Bitter

Our winter seasonal is inspired by the great ales of the UK but brewed with a distinctively American attitude. English crystal malt gives Phoenixx its subtle toffee and caramel notes, but this ale is about hops. The blend of English hops, highlighted by its namesake, Phoenix, yields a complex hop character that dominates this special brew.
