When we’re not making beer, we’re making friends. Check here for the latest events happening in Blanco and at the brewery.

Mother’s Day Soap Making Workshop with Wild Dill Farm :: Old 300 BBQ Food Truck

It was so much fun last year, we are doing it again!  Tickets on sale now – click here to grab yours!
Wild Dill Farm wants you to experience making your own soap using skin-loving ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil and more.

Soap making is a combination of cooking and chemistry. In this class you will learn the basics of all natural hot press saponification and the many ways you can play and change your end results. You will go home with a detailed handout that you can refer to again and again, as well as two bars of your custom blended soap. This will be a fun Mother’s Day option or just a good time with friends. And of course, a beer is included with class!  Our friends from Old 300 BBQ will be on site all day.

During the hands-on portion of class each small group will be provided with all of the supplies, equipment, and guidance to:

-Select and blend essential oils to fragrance your soap

-Select additives and coloring

-Mix your own lye solution

-Mix and pour the soap into the mold
