We’re proud to be a Texas brewery, and we’re happiest making beer that beer lovers in Texas enjoy drinking. Our goal is to make the best beer—not the most.
We only sell Real Ale beer in the great state of Texas. Here’s why: keeping beer close keeps it fresh. Most of our beer is unfiltered and unpasteurized, so it lives its best life cold and quick; the farther it travels, the harder it is to protect quality and integrity. Texans are a thirsty bunch, and we’ve got our hands full keeping their fridges and coolers stocked.
There’s another reason: we don’t have to chase growth in other states. We’re independent. We don’t answer to investors pushing volume for volume’s sake. That gives us the freedom to focus on craft over footprint—simple ingredients, careful steps, and time—because making great beer is the point.
If you’re outside Texas, consider this your invitation to visit. Here at home, you’ll find our beers at grocery and convenience stores, and both our beers and spirits at liquor stores statewide—and on tap (and in cocktails) at bars and restaurants across Texas.
We distill our spirits here in Texas Hill Country, right alongside our beer. In fact, all Real Spirits start out as beer, just without the hops. What makes our spirits truly shine starts in fermentation, using different yeasts to create unique flavors before we even get to the still. Then it’s passed off to our distillers to work their magic, crafting each batch with our own Hill Country touch. The idea is simple: make true grain-to-glass Texas spirits, from start to finish, right here in Blanco.
Unlike our beer, spirits travel well. A sealed bottle holds up on a truck, which means we can share Real Spirits beyond Texas without compromising what’s in the glass. You’ll find us across Texas and in a handful of markets outside the state, with more coming carefully and at a pace that keeps quality first.
You can pick up bottles in the Blanco Taproom, at liquor stores across Texas, and a select number are available to purchase online. Outside Texas, availability varies by state and retailer. If you don’t spot us on the shelf, ask your local shop to bring us in; many retailers are happy to order.
