Pilot Release: Skullberry Strawberry Milkshake IPA

Skullberry is back for a short time!  A wacky idea inspired by the creativity of our friends at Tin Man in El Paso, we have re-released this to welcome Tin Man to San Antonio.  Skullberry has its roots in the New England style of IPA but is modified by a small addition of lactose, which produces a softer mouthfeel and subtle sweetness. It has a berry-like aroma, which is boosted by late fermentation additions of fresh strawberry puree and Mexican vanilla, taking this beer to skull-splitting levels of awesomeness. Prepare to have your mind blown & get some while you can, only a couple of kegs to go!

Every pilot release is a chance to try something different — sometimes it’s a twist on a classic style, sometimes it’s a bold new direction. These beers are brewed in extremely small quantities on our 8bbl pilot system, and are typically only available in our Blanco taproom (and in some cases at our collab partners place). If you see one you want to try, don’t wait.
