Pilot Release: Tropical Stout (Collab with Longtab Brewing)

Urban Camo is how we would describe this big city/small town crossover: our take on a Tropical Stout, brewed with a variety of crystal malts and turbinado sugar to create a warm and rum-like body with complex notes of caramelized sugar and dark chocolate. The Sabro and Idaho 7 hops provide deeper tropical notes of pineapple and toasted coconut. It’s a hot stout summer!

Every pilot release is a chance to try something different — sometimes it’s a twist on a classic style, sometimes it’s a bold new direction. These beers are brewed in extremely small quantities on our 8bbl pilot system, and are typically only available in our Blanco taproom (and in some cases at our collab partners place).
