Mother’s Day Soap Making Workshop with Wild Dill Farm
Wild Dill Farm wants you to experience making your own soap using skin-loving ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil and more.
Soap making is a combination of cooking and chemistry. In this class you will learn the basics of all natural hot press saponification and the many ways you can play and change your end results. You will go home with a detailed handout that you can refer to again and again, as well as two bars of your custom blended soap. This will be a fun Mother’s Day option or just a good time with friends. And of course, a beer is included with class!
During the hands-on portion of class each small group will be provided with all of the supplies, equipment, and guidance to:
-Select and blend essential oils to fragrance your soap
-Select additives and coloring
-Mix your own lye solution
-Mix and pour the soap into the mold

Join us for the 3rd annual Firemans Light BBQ Cook-off!

Friday, June 3rd: Taproom open late (noon-8pm) with music by Zydeco Blanco from 5-7pm. Come enjoy the beer garden and Blanco’s very own Texas Hill Country Cajun-Zydeco-Country Dance Band! Food available for purchase from Burnt Orange Bleeders, and food proceeds will benefit Lone Star Paralysis Foundation.
Saturday, June 4th: Taproom opens at noon, and music kicks off with Austin’s Charlie Pierce & Chocktaw Wildfire (1-3p), then Raccoon Brothers takes the stage (3-5pm) followed by the BBQ Awards Ceremony from 5-6p. Food available all day from Tumble 22, with proceeds donated to the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation. Check out the silent auction while you are there (closes at 4:30p) to support the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation.
About the Cookoff: Teams will compete in up to 5 categories: Brisket, Ribs, Beans, Chicken and Wild Card. There will be a limit of 50 cook team slots available on a first come, first served basis. Interested in cooking? Request an application from marketing @ realalebrewing.com.

Soap Making Workshop with Wild Dill Farm
Just in time for the holidays!
If you love hands-on learning and DIY projects, Wild Dill Farm’s cold press soap class will satisfy your curiosity!
You’ll learn how to make luxurious beer soap and how to handle lye safely. Everything you need will be available to you in class.
This process does require a time for curing, before safe use. Your soap creations will be available for pickup at our Holiday Artisan market on December 14th.

(Sodium Hydroxide (lye) is a caustic substance, so please handle with caution. Rubber gloves and eye protection is mandatory and will be provided. Long sleeves are suggested. All participants must sign a liability waiver to participate.)
