The goal of this event is to raise funds for a regional skatepark in Dripping Springs, TX. Additional information, and a detailed history of this project, can be found on the DSSP home page. The folks in Taylor, TX, did a fantastic job fundraising for their skatepark and we’re following their successful model using a skateboard art auction to raise funds. This silent auction will feature boards designed and created by local, and national, artists. The skateboards will be displayed here at the brewery, just outside of Austin, TX, in an art gallery setting. Anyone can place bids online once the silent auction begins. 100% of the auction proceeds will go to the Dripping Springs Skatepark fund.
Our Drop In @ Real Ale fundraiser for the Dripping Springs Skatepark will coincide with National Go Skateboarding Day. On Friday, June 21, 2019, a private, ticketed event will be held at the brewery from 7-10 pm to recognize the event sponsors.
On Saturday, June 22, from 12-5 pm the festivities get going with a fun event for all ages at the brewery. In addition to the silent auction with the one-of-a kind skateboards designed by creative artists, this family friendly event will include skateboarding, vendors, music, and food.
